I'm in here at least a couple times a week. They have a good selection of nuts and bolts and all the basics for most any project you have around the house. Sure Home Depot might be cheaper on some items but, they are also 30 minutes away and you can never find someone to help you if you have questions...unlike this Ace. There is always someone around to ask questions.

You ask the emploees a question, if they don't know the answer they will find the answer for you!

A friend and I had a terrible experience here! We came in to have keys made. That went well. We needed to have some wood cut. The thinner wood in the back. Went to the counter by the paint asked an older lady to please send someone. We waited back there for about 9-10 mins and no one came. We decided to just pay for the keys and leave. they lost our business for the other items. Walking to the cash register i noted 4 employees seemingly avaliable. Yet no one came to help us. At the register we paid for our items. While there, our cashier told another employee there was a gentleman outside who needed help loading some wood. The cashier let him know the gentleman said he would be rather particular about which wood he wanted. The employee then said "he can load it himself then if hes going to be like that" The cashier responded with "he is an older gentleman" to which the employee said " I dont care.. if hes going to be picky he can do it himself they're all #2" or something to that extent. I was shocked. My friend was shocked. In the middle of a packed line this guy has the audacity to say he refuses to help an older customer, because he wants to pick quality wood that HE IS PAYING FOR! I did have a little fit in which i loudly said "y'all really need to work on that!" And walked out. I dont think id have been so pissy if i hadnt have waited 10 mins with no service and free staff walking around. This place has no sense of customer care or service! They are lucky they are in a small town! My advice is go to the hardware shop down the road! They are MUCH better about taking care of customers, and actually want to help you!

Great personalized friendly service. Surprisingly wide selection for most DIY home maintenance and repair jobs.

Are there two lines or just one??! Seriously people if there are two cashier's make two lines. Every time I go, there is a line half way back the store. Two cashier's means two lines!! Sometimes they have what I need sometimes not. Definitely prefer Home Depot.....but it's nice to have a little something close to home.
