Very under staffed!
So impressed with the nurses and staff that have been working with my mom. Thank you for providing compassionate care to her and the other residents of your facility. The care you provide has been a great peace of mind for our family and we are very grateful. Thank you!
After working at Willow Glen for nearly a year, I have learned how hard it is. Most of the CNA's there are very good and know what they are doing, but are not appreciated hardly at all. As a CNA, bonuses are almost never given out, and the pay is horrible for how hard it is. It is not the residents who live there faults, but I would have to say it is the management's fault. They boss everyone around and tell the CNA's what to do without helping out themselves. It seems like they expect us to do everything. Almost everyday was stressful and hard to deal with. So any CNA or even nurse that can deal with working in a such a place deserves some credit. Even with a good attitude everyday, all of the workload is still heavy and the day is still stressful. There was never enough staff to keep the residents happy or to share the workload, because of this, Willow Glen goes through so many workers, it is just simply too much to handle. Since staff is alway short, the residents are never taken care of in the way they should be. Something needs to change.
It takes too long to get help when you beep them. The staff is understaffed.
