Nice little home town library.
What a wonderful Carnegie built library. Sue Hill is an amazing librarian and has an astounding array of programs and services for a small town branch.

The building is a neat historical Carnegie library with an unfortunate 80's addition that leaks. Books are frequently stolen as library lacks security. These things are the city's fault but contribute to the library's problems. With the library's ability to loan ebooks, the city could close the library in favor of online lending and use the historical library as a museum.
The librarians are kind and helpful, and its cozy. It has a children's section, and upstairs for scientific books and a more quiet reading place
Great collection for it's small size. Very friendly staff. Would rank higher except the library refuses to hire men. Curiously, men have been locked out of the restroom in the past and made to ask for a key while women had no such procedure. Library also pushes lgbtq agenda with it's young adult collection, so beware, if you are uncomfortable with that.
